Taylor Swift's concert film grosses $125 million worldwide, but her tour falls short of its $100 million North American goal!

As of right now, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film has sold more than $100 million in advance tickets worldwide, according to AMC Theatres Distribution and AMC Entertainment.

The film is scheduled to release in almost 8,500 cinemas across 100 countries in a week.

According to AMC, "from the largest cities to the smallest towns," audience demand "has been incredible" across, with giant screen formats predominating.

Sam Wrench's film, which documents the smash tour, will be released on October 13 at 6 p.m. local time.

The most anticipated movie on the fall theatrical release schedule, according to AMC, will make its world debut on October 11 in Los Angeles.

Deadline reported in late September that Eras Tour was expected to begin with a $100 million to $125 million budget.

On August 31, the movie that broke the record for the most tickets sold at a concert opened.

At a time when Hollywood strikes were forcing release date changes, it gave the exhibition a significant boost.
